Verification Stigma

Verification stigma is the fear of seeming rude, paranoid, or "difficult" when asking to confirm identity or requests. Stigma reduces verification and increases fraud success. SAF aims to remove stigma by normalizing phrases like: "For safety, I verify through a second channel," and encouraging institutions to publicly support verification.
