Urgency Bias

Urgency bias is the tendency to prioritize speed over accuracy when time pressure is introduced. Scammers manufacture urgency because it reduces verification and increases compliance. Urgency bias is a normal human response, not a character flaw. SAF counters urgency bias by teaching a behavioral pause: stop, think, and verify before irreversible actions.
